Awesome Photography Tips

If you have the need to show your work off to the world, I have found the most amazing website with terrific tutorials.  Kurtis is not only a very talented stamper but also photographer & webmaster. You can view his tutorials on photography for your website HERE.

If you are going to be posting images that include copyright images and/or uploading your work, you will want to embed the copyright information and your name and website.  You can view his ‘watermarking’ tutorials HERE. I have been inspired by his flash videos and hopefully (by the end of the year) will be adding my own video tutorials on working with Wordpress on this site!

Put Symbols in your Wordpress Post

Do you use terms that require ® symbols? They are easy to add! There are some short codes that you use that ‘open and close’ with an ampersand (&) and the semicolon (;). I will show the codes here with a space before the code and after it, so the sample does not convert to the symbol. Example: © ; = ©

& quot; = "

& bull; = •

& larr; = ?

& uarr; = ?

& rarr; = ?

& darr; = ?

& hArr; = ? (capital A makes double line)

& hearts; = ?

& diams; = ?

& Uuml; = Ü

& frac14 = ¼

& frac12 = ½

& frac34 = ¾

Not working?  Did you remember to take out the space between the & and the code?  Bet that fixes it!
